Question by : Best place to get an Xbox 360 for cheap?
I’m still undecided whether to get the Arcade, Pro, or Elite version of the Xbox 360.
Also, I plan to get only one of these following games:
Halo 3
Devil May Cry 4
Call of Duty 4
Grand Theft Auto IV
They seem like interesting games but I’m not sure which one would suit me the best. Any recommendations?
Ok, I’m planning to get the Pro with Halo 3. Should I trade in my Nintendo Gamecube with five games towards my purchase?

You can always get a used one from your local game retailer, all of those games should be used as well. Just ask for a 1-year protection for it if they have it.
You can try sites like http://www.newegg.com and Ebay, but you’ll probably do better buying a used system and games at a game retailer like Game Stop or EB Games
Also, do not get the arcade system. it doesn’t have a hard drive and you will want one, the hard drives start at $ 100 so just buy the pro or elite.

Get Arcade if your just gonna get one of those games. But may I suggest Gears of War 2? You can get fairly cheap ones on eBay.

Go to GameStop. You can trade in games and what not to gain some store credit towards buying your 360. All four of those games are very good (though GTA IV is a bit of a disappointment in my opinion, compared to GTA III GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas). I would suggest Call of Duty 4. It has a pretty good story mode and the best replay value of the four, especially considering its online play (which is great). And as far as the type of 360, Go for the one in the middle (which I believe is the Pro?). You don’t need to go for the more expensive one, it’s just a waste of money. And as far as the cheaper one goes, it doesn’t have reverse-compatibility (ability to play original Xbox games), and who knows, you might have the urge to go back to one of the classics. Good luck!
