Classic Game Room reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 BIG RED ONE for Xbox from Treyarch and Activision from 2005. This COD Big Red One Collector’s Edition comes with interviews and behind the scenes features as well as an awesome single player campaign that takes place through Africa, Italy, D-Day and France as well as Germany during WW2. As far as World War 2 shooters go, Call of Duty Big Red One is extremely well made and complimented nicely with Military Channel footage from WWII telling the storyline of the game. This CGR review of Call of Duty Big Red One has gameplay from Call of Duty Big Red One on Xbox (Plays on Xbox 360) showing Call of Duty gameplay during Big Red One videogame first person shooter game play.

It’s sad. This isn’t even Treyarch’s best work! Remember Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater? How about that old Spider-Man game for the Dreamcast? And what about NHL 2K series? I find it unfair that Treyarch’s rep is trashed just because Black Ops and World at War ended up the way they did! They already left their mark with BRO and 3, they shouldn’t have to put up with the crap from fantards and Modern Warfags! After all, the games they’re playing are embarrassments to COD!

@Ace4929 Yea, CoD 3 was pretty good, better characters than WaW for sure. If WaW had had the cutscenes like in this game and CoD 3, and the closeness that those games have, it may have been a lot better I reckon.

great review first call of duty i ever played. i had the gamecube version. it used to be my favorite until call of duty 2 and call of duty world at war came out, but it is still fun.
ReplyAce4929 14:15 16/09 of 2011
@berserker276 you said it. the only part of that game which had a hint of what i was looking for was the russian missions. they were okay. there was nothing to the characters. in big red one, they tell jokes, they make fun of eachother, they fight eachother, they tell stories, they shout, and they feel really real, and whats more you care about your team. i didnt care at all about roebuck or polonsky. they made a waw knockoff for the ps2, and that was much better than the ps3/xbox version
