**Click Widescreen/480p for Best View** I know it’s been a long hiatus, but I’ve returned with a video I’ve been meaning to work on for a long time now. Problem is we just haven’t had that much in the way of footage til recently. I’m talking, of course, about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. MW2 is a sequel to the top selling game of 2007, and to what many consider to be the pinnacle of the CoD franchise. While last year’s entry World at War was a brilliant game in its own right, many dismissed it for returning to the roots of World War II combat instead of the not-too-distant-future Iranian War background of its predecessor. Nonetheless, excitement and anticipation for this game are at an all-time peak, with pre-order sales alone outselling the original Modern Warfare. It’s no question that 11-10-09 will become a date of epic proportions. Clips featured are taken from GameTrailers.com. To settle any fanboyish system arguements (which all comments of such will be deleted), in-game footage shown is of the Xbox 360 version. The song featured is a newer track from The Offspring, entitled “Half-Truism”. Honestly, it was one line from it that inspired me to model a CoD video around it: “….If we don’t make it alive, well it’s a hell of a good day to die. All our light that shines strong only lasts for so long….”
